Walmart is offering its plus members a new deal.
The retail giant on Thursday announced "a first-of-its-kind partnership" with Burger King under which Walmart+ members can receive a 25% discount on digital orders every day at the fast food restaurant, starting today.
Walmart said the "exclusive dining benefit for Walmart+ members" will enhance "the value and convenience of the membership program and "is designed to save members time and money, catering to their fast-paced lifestyles where grocery shopping, meal planning and cooking may not always be feasible."
"Given that most Americans eat from quick service restaurants several times a week, this benefit serves as a practical, cost-effective solution to accommodate dining preferences and busy schedules while enjoying the iconic taste of Burger King," Walmart said in a statement.
Free Whopper for Walmart+ members
In addition to this discount, Walmart+ members will also get free flame-grilled Whopper every three months with any purchase starting in September.
"Offered at no extra cost to the Walmart+ membership, the Burger King benefit is the latest move by Walmart+ to give its members even more value," Walmart said, adding that the retailer partnered with Expedia and Paramount+ to offer members and customers more value for their membership.
“The inclusion of a Burger King benefit in our Walmart+ membership portfolio is exciting,” Venessa Yates, senior vice president and general manager of Walmart+ said in a statement. “We consistently strive to offer benefits that focus on our members, aligning with our commitment to deliver undeniable value and convenience."
How to get discount at Burger King with Walmart+?
Walmart+ members can avail the 25% discount at Burger King via the Burger King app or online at bk.com by linking their Walmart membership to their Burger King Royal Perks account.
