Daisy Kelliher and Colin MacRae are happily sailing solo these days.
But when it comes to where they stand with each other more than a year after their messy breakup?
"We don't really talk," Daisy exclusively told E! News ahead of Below Deck Sailing Yacht's season five premiere. "If he needed anything, obviously he could give me a call. But we don't really keep in touch."
However, she did receive a surprising text from her former costar after the Bravo series' new trailer was released last month.
"I got a message from him the other day about a comment I made about him," Daisy revealed. "I hope he's not mad at me saying this, because I basically referred to him as 'dead weight,' which was a joke. He just messaged me like, 'Dead weight?' Laughing emoji. Hopefully he saw the funny side."
But while Colin won't be returning for BDSY's new season, Daisy did have to reunite with Gary King, who was one third of the trio's love triangle and played a part in the Chief Stew and Chief Engineer's very tumultuous breakup.
"The reunion created a lot of tension, so that's why we went in so heated," Daisy recounted of encountering Gary aboard the Parsifal III. "It's hard looking back on that because I was so angry after the reunion and the way I was treated."
Despite admitting she "was not looking forward to seeing him, working with him, being around," Daisy and Gary eventually worked through their issues for the good of their crew.
"I'm not somebody to hold a grudge and I don't like holding on to anger," the Ireland native shared. "We obviously have to find a way to work with each other."
And they were able to reach that consensus.
"I'm absolutely fine with Gary," Daisy added. "We're not the best of friends, we live very separate lives. But I have no issues with him."
See the drama play out when Below Deck Sailing Yacht premieres Monday, Oct. 7, at 9 p.m. on Bravo. Episodes will be available to stream next day on Peacock.
And keep reading to meet the new season five crew.
Capt. Glenn and his expert crew set sail on Parsifal III to the luxury party capital of the world, Ibiza. While Ibiza is known for its sunny day parties and crystal-clear coast, it’s stormy waters ahead for the crew as they navigate blossoming boatmances, competitive co-workers and tense personal dynamics, all while trying to raise the bar every charter.
After a distracting love triangle last season that took her focus away from work, Daisy is ready to take the reins back in the interior department with a new sense of energy and determination. However, plans for a stress-free charter season are threatened when her stews question her leadership.
On deck, Gary attempts to keep his team motivated as one crew member struggles to learn the ropes.
In the galley, Chef Cloyce charms the crew and guests but at only 22, he may be too inexperienced to meet the demands of the high-maintenance charter guests.
