"Vanderpump Rules" star James Kennedy has been arrested for domestic violence.
In a statement to USA TODAY on Thursday, police confirmed that the "Pump Rules" star, who is legally known as James Kennedy Georgiou, was arrested Tuesday around 11:30 p.m. local time in Burbank, California, after police were dispatched to a home in the area because of an argument between a man and woman.
"The investigation determined it was a domestic incident, leading to Mr. Georgiou's arrest," police said in a statement to USA TODAY. The DJ was booked for misdemeanor domestic violence and later posted bail, according to Burbank police. Charges are pending review by the Burbank City Attorney's Office.
The victim was not named, but Kennedy has been in a longtime relationship with fellow "Pump Rules" cast member Ally Lewber. The pair attended Kathy Hilton's Christmas party collab with DirecTV "Christmas at Kathy's" together on Tuesday night in Los Angeles.
USA TODAY has reached out to reps for Kennedy and Groot Hospitality, which hosts his DJ residency, for comment. Bravo and NBCUniversal declined to comment. But it's unlikely that Kennedy, the cast's resident hot head, will return to Bravo anytime soon.

The network announced Nov. 26 that Bravo is pumping the break on the reality series with an upcoming 12th season that is slated to star an entirely new cast. Lisa Vanderpump will be joined by a "new group of close-knit SUR-vers who are as complicatedly involved with one another as their iconic predecessors."
'Vanderpump Rules' reboot:A new cast planned, two years after 'Scandoval'
"Vanderpump Rules," which debuted in 2013, follows the staff at Vanderpump's Los Angeles restaurants, an alum of "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills." Kennedy joined the show as a friend of the cast in Season 3 in 2015.
Last year, the reality show made headlines amid a scandal dubbed "Scandoval," in which star Tom Sandoval was revealed to have cheated on his then-girlfriend Ariana Madix with his co-star and her close friend, Rachel Leviss. "To say I have been devastated and broken is an understatement," Madix said at the time.
Before her secret tryst with Sandoval, Leviss was in a five-year long relationship with Kennedy before the duo announced the end of their engagement in December 2021.
The reality TV series garnered two Emmy nominations last year, a rarity for Bravo reality TV shows, for the scandal-stirred season.
